CHECK WHAT’S IN THE TRASH BAG
This past week, while a good break from school, was not at all what I had expected. I thought I was going to have my tax return by now, and had figured I would have enough to pay off some debt, perhaps go out of town for a day or two and maybe put a down payment on a car. However, I’m an idiot and lost my Borders W2, making it impossible for me to have my taxes done. I had to put more money into my car than I had planned on and am now nearly negative in my bank account. Ah, surviving two weeks on less than one week’s worth of pay. Awesome.
I should be back where I need to be though by the first weekend in April. I successfully found my Borders W2 (in the stupidest spot imaginable, by the way), and should have a fairly large paycheck. I feel like I’ve done nothing but work for the past, like, month. I’m serious about this car though. Maybe not that specific care, but something. By the end of April. Something I can rely on and won’t have to put stupid amounts of money into ever two months. This is getting ridiculous. Seriously.
Tk and I spent a lot of time doing nothing this week. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights I worked. Thursday we were supposed to go to Schaumburg for some sweet shopping at Woodfield Mall and Ikea. Mmmm… cheap couches and the Hello Kitty Store. Yes! I’m sure Tk didn’t really care about the Hello Kitty store, but, I NEED that freakin’ toaster. I’m serious. However, with all these random other expenses this week, I just couldn’t justify the money. Yeseterday, all I did was watch Gilmore and make fun of Nate with Tk. Then I worked. Lame.
Today, however, work was absolutely delightful. I worked with my favorite pharmacist, and spent most of my shift with Heather, who I pretty much adore. Tk came in at 4, and we made fun of Mike. I ended up leaving 2 hours early because we are totally dead. So, the day didn’t really suck at all. Even the rude patients didn’t get to me.. mostly they were just amusing.
So, there ya go. An update.
PS: Does anybody drive a Jeep Wrangler? If so, how do you like it?
