WE GONNA SIP BACARDI LIKE ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY
I had a really great birthday this year, so thank you to everyone involved. Friday morning, I went to class, but Scott went on lockdown due to some guy bringing a gun to school. After that, I got really freaked out and left. Allison, Tk and I spent the day shopping and hanging out. After Al went home, Tk and I went to my house where Ashley joined us. We got all dolled up for my party at The Bungle. It was pretty sweet.
The party itself was a really great time. Ashley, Tk and I went ridiculoulsy early, and Allison and Josh met up with us shortly thereafter. We hung out and made fun of everyone, because that’s how we roll. Slowly but surely people started showing up. Becca, Sarah and Randy showed up with a boquet of Hello Kitty baloons and a Sarah Jessica Parker gift pack, which included the following: Cosmo, the BEST UNDERWEAR ON THE PLANET, tube socks, a pedi kit, boxers and an absurdly long tank top. So, basically, I’m SJP. Tk got me The White Album and Sex and The City on DVD and a really sweet card. Allison bought me a boob shirt and I got a rifle from Josh. Shawna and Chris came too, which was pretty fantastic. I got a LOT of Whitey’s and books. Tk’s parents bought my Perselopis and Applebee’s gift card. Inside the card from Tk’s parents was a very sweet note that read:
Hannah, I hate you. - Wood
(and!)
Hannah, you’re so gay! - Toni
So that was nice.
Saturday rolled around and I hung out with my mom for a bit. We went to breakfast and hung out for a while, it was really nice. after that I lounged around the house, drove to target and went to Tk’s family’s birthday extravaganza. Evidentally, ALL birthdays are in April.
Sunday morning Deb called and said she was ‘cancelling’. I thought that was pretty lame, because I didn’t know you could cancel a birthday. So, without her, we all went to Grandpa’s house and hung out for awhile. I got some cool cards and a bit of money, which will probably go towards my car payment. Extreme. It was a really good time though. Baliegh said she doesn’t date boys with mustaches and Jesse said he couldn’t buy a bike called The Enforcer because he doesn’t “really have much to enforce”. When I got back into Davenport, I drove to Camera Corner and Best Buy and tried to justify spending 600 bucks on a camera. As bad as I want one, I can’t spend that much. It took me a long time to build up the savings that I have, and it feels irresponsible to blow so much of it at once. So I’m going to buy a nice camera that will get me through until I can afford what Ir eally want.
Upon my arrival home, Mitch called to see if I wanted to go out with him on his new motorcycle. OH MY GOD. It was spectacular. I’m seriously thinking about buying one. Not immediatley, but if I start saving now, I could deffinetly get one by next summer. Until then, I just need to find a boyfriend with one so I can ride it and learn how to drive it.. er.. is that the proper lingo? Oh man, it was seriously amazing.
So all in all, I had a really great birthday this year. Thanks to everyone to contributed to it being so great. Next year will deffinetly be more extreme, though. Bar crawl in Chicago, followed by one in Iowa City.
Thanks again you guys, it meant the world. :]
