EVERYWHERE

So, I was supposed to be moved in last week. Plans got messed up (I’m so eloquent). So, I went home and wasn’t allowed to leave until I got my car fixed, which ended up being an ungodly amount. I’m not so sure that I can afford California now. Cool, huh? So, after all that, I called DMACC to find out where I was on the financial aid issue, because, believe it or not, I have no dollars. They told me that hadn’t received everything. What the hell. I went today and got things figured out. I got into an argument with the financial aid guy… he said that he still hadn’t received everything. But, we sent it like, three times! I mailed it in May and then my mom faxed it twice! Ugggghhhh! They told me I could pay for first term and get reimbursed later. Except… I don’t have any money. I’m actually getting a little afraid that I’m not going to be able to make all my bills. I’m trying to make twenty bucks last as long as I possibly can, and due to that fact, I haven’t left my apartment. If I walk around downtown, I’ll stop in at Subway or the coffee shop. It’s a weakness. If I just drive around.. well, I’m wasting gas. So, that pretty much blows. Anyway, so financial aid Kyle said that I would get reimbursed. “So.. you know for a fact that I’m going to get the Pell Grant. For like.. 4 grand?” “Right.” “And I only owe you a little over a thousand?” “Right.” “So.. why am I paying? Can’t you be reimbursed? I shouldn’t have to pay for your mistakes.” He basically agreed with me. Like, it took no work. I don’t understand. He then went on to tell me that I would have to pay for my books because they don’t own the bookstore anymore, thus, I couldn’t just get the vouchers. So… I’m still kind of screwed. I don’t have any money for books. I’ll get reimbursed, but not for “oh, I’d say like, 4 to 6 weeks.”

Oh, and I need new glasses. So.. who wants to give me 40 bucks for an eye exam? C’mon.. it’s not that much!

God, I just want to go home. And it’s only been a few days.
