YOU HIT ME HARD LIKE THE FLU

I’m still adjusting to Ames. It’s pretty weird here.. not seeing my dad everyday, or being able to have breakfast with my mom whenever I want. It’s weird not have Tk’s dad to call a retard everyday, or to make fun of Steve behind his back with everyone. It’s getting better though. Jenn and I are getting along and Tk came up this week. Also, something INCREDIBLE happened.

So, the website we built for Boots and Kyle (found here ) has actually made some headway. We built a myspace as a promotional thing, and friended a bunch of people. People are really starting to get a kick out of it, despite what our comments may say. We’ve received tons of emails from fans that are stoked about our project. Annnnnd…. Boots Factor himself requested as a friend on myspace. He said that he likes what we’re doing, thinks it’s funny and good. Thinks we should keep doing what we’re doing.. ‘don’t give up! This is going to be huge. HUGE! ‘

Haven’t heard anything from Kyle, yet, but I have hope. Dude is on tour, so I’m going to attribute his lack of response to that and not because he thinks we’re a bunch of weirdies.

Tk and I are going to see the SK6ERS on October 21. We have decided to try to meet with Boots after the show and give him our business card. Also, Spring Awakening is coming to Des Moines in January, so we plan on attending. I’m hoping that we’ll hear from Kyle before then though… January is a long way off. We have hope that, after meeting us, Boots will be blown away by how charming and adorable we are and call Kyle immediately. Hopefully the conversation will go a little something like this “Hey, Kyle. I just met these two totally rad girls and they love us. And I love them, so you should probably get your ass here immediatley and meet them. Because they are badass and we are badass. We could be badass together!” (I don’t know what Kyle will say.. I’m not a freakin’ mind-reader!)
