Hello, Halo

Just a quick post to say what’s up. It’s been really hectic around here, getting ready for finals, packing and getting ready to move. I think I only have three classes left before semester is over, and I’m kind of stressing out about that. I have a persuasive speech due on Tuesday about why you shouldn’t eat at KFC (and you really, really shouldn’t. That shit is NAST.) My rough draft is okay, but apparently it needs to be way more detailed.. I should be working on it now, but instead I think I’ll listen to This American Life and blog. And consider finishing my packing.

I’m going home for Thanksgiving this week, but the trip is going to be WAY more rushed than I had hoped for. I wanted to go home today or tomorrow and come back Sunday afternoon.. but instead, I’m supposed to have today, tomorrow and Tuesday off, but I work Wednesday and Saturday night, so it wouldn’t make any sense to leave. So I’m picking up half a shift today and a whole shift tomorrow.

I don’t want to work today or tomorrow. At all. But alas! This is the first year since my senior year in high school that I haven’t had TWO jobs over Christmas, so I’m starting to freak out about my lack of funds. It’s weird not working in the mall this year… I’m actually a little bummed about it. God, I’m so lame.
