What’s up with this ‘Halo’ thing? Are you a video game dork?
Nope, just a regular one. My mom named me Hannah Lorraine, after my aunt Lorri. Lorri thought that it would be adorable to call me Halo, as in HAnnah LOrraine. HaLo. Halo. Get it? Mom apparently wanted to name me Phoebe Lorraine, but my Grandma didn’t like it. Which works well for me, because what kind of nickname is Pholo? Not a good one, that’s for damn sure. Mom never went along with the nickname.. she was too attatched to Hannah Banana, which refuses to die. Two years ago I decided that I didn’t like it, and that Halo was cute. So here we are.
Why the website?
Well, if you would have bothered to read the ‘About’ portion of the website, you would know. I want to be a writer and this was the easiest way to get essays and random thoughts out for the world to see. And by ‘the world’, I mean ‘the seven people that read this blog occaisionally’.
I have a lot of other writings, but as of now, I’m not brave enough to put them out there. I have a short story (well, really it’s like a short novella) that I would love to post, but I won’t. Partially because I’m afraid everyone will realize what a terrible writer I am, and partially because I’m afraid that if it (by the grace of God) doesn’t totally blow, someone will steal it and it won’t have a copyright! How lame is that?!
What do you use to run your website?
I’m hosted through HostNine and have a wordpress account. I’m by no means an HTML god, however. My friend Benna is extremely talented in that area, though.

That’s not a question, but ok. I was born in ‘88 to Dave and Kathy. I was named after my Aunt Lorri, who I love more than is probably reasonable. I’ve got two brothers, Matt and Jesse,an almost-sister Courtney, a sister-in-law Shelly, two beautiful neices and my best friend, Tk. Tk and I often operate more like siblings than anything else. I’ve got spare parents, Dave and Toni, and a dog that isn’t mine.. but I still wish he was. I do not react well to passive aggressive behavior. I used to love cats, but I’ve gotten over it in the past few months. I’m in love with a guy I’ve met only once. His name is Kyle Riabko. He is so fuckin talented I can’t even stand it. I aspire to some day own ever color of chuck taylors.
Do you have any other websites?
Yup. Tk and I run a website devoted to Boots Factor and Kyle Riabko. It might sound creepy, but after talking to Boots about it, we decided it was just funny. He sent me an email in August and was just pleased about it. In October he said he was extremely flattered and that we should keep it up. So we do. www.WeLoveBootsAndKyle.com
